Navigating the process for medical fitness-to-drive assessments can be a complex clinical and administrative challenge. Bridging the gap between a physician’s office, RoadSafetyBC requirements, and functional driving evaluations isn’t always straightforward.

Kiley Kwak is an occupational therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience in the areas of Return to Work, Concussion/Brain Injury, Mental Health and Driver Rehabilitation. She is currently the Clinical Program Advisor for Driver Rehabilitation Services at Community Therapists, where she provides Functional Driving Evaluations for Class 1-6 drivers, On-Road Rehabilitation Programs and quality assurance for the CTI Driver Rehab team.

Salim Janmohamed completed his B.Sc. in occupational therapy in 1998 and earned his Certified Work Capacity Evaluator designation through RMA in 2002. He also holds an MBA from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Salim’s clinical expertise includes Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), Return to Work Rehabilitation (RTW), Ergonomics, Home Health, and Community Activation for clients with orthopedic, general medical and mental health conditions.
